The road back to the playoffs starts now, and for our Lions the mission this season is clear: get back to where this group belongs. That's the goal we're circling, and everything between here and there is a hurdle to be cleared. And the first hurdles are already staring us down. Nagging injuries are part of the equation, and a tougher division only sharpens the climb — every week in this group is going to test us, and there's no easing into it. The real tell comes when the starters take the field for the first game that counts. Preseason is preseason, but that opening snap with the ones out there is the key addition we've been waiting to see. That's when we learn what this team actually is.
