All Piston's in game 1 of series with Cavaliers
with 111-101 victory!
The Detroit Pistons started their Eastern Conference Semi-Final with a much more impressive
111-101 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. Behind balanced scoring and toughening defense the Pistons will now look to tonight (5/7/26) to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series with a 7pm tipoff on Prime Video!
Cade Cunningham (23pts) and Tobias Harris (20pts) continue to shine for Detroit as the Pistons forced 20 turnovers on the Cavaliers. It should be a different Cleveland team Thursday night as this series is just getting started and should be an entertaining one!
After tonights game the series will move to Cleveland for games 3 & 4 Saturday(3pm) and Monday(8pm) both games on NBC Peacock!

Red Sox sweep Tigers at Comerica as Skubal is out for 2-3 months!
The last place Red Sox in the A.L. East just came into Comerica Park and swept the Tiger's in their 3 game series! Boston sits 9 games back of the N.Y. Yankees in the East and are 5 games below .500 on the season! On top of the Sweep the Tiger's learned this week that their Ace Tarik Skubal will be out 2-3 months after having left elbow surgery! Best case return would be early to mid August?
Either way that puts a huge strain on a pitching staff that came into the year as a top ranked one now mediocre at best!
The A.L. Central Division is playing some of worst ball of all divisions as every team in the N.L. Central would be in 1st place in the A.L. Central!
Boston outscored Detroit 19-7 for the 3 games as the Tiger's finished out April at 14-13. Detroit stands at 1 game back of Cleveland as they head to Kansas City for a crucial weekend series with the Royals!

Michigan Sweeps Maryland as they head to Minnesota for a big 3 game series over weekend
The Wolverines continued to stay hot having won their last 6 series. They have have won 18 of their last 22 contests! Michigan swept Maryland 8-7 with a late game comeback to earn the victory Sunday!
The win moves Michigan to 30-17 and a lock for 6th place in the BIG! Their conference record is 15-9 as the season winds down!
Conference play is coming to a close and the post season is right around the corner for the BIG Schools. Maryland will host the BIG Ten Tournament here in a week or so!
Michigan will travel to Minnesota (May 8-10) before coming home to close out the regular season with Ohio St (May14-16)
Senior Day will be May 16 at Ray Fisher Field at 1pm as they will pay tribute to the Wolverines who are graduating!

Lion's fill needs with final rounds of NFL Draft
The Detroit Lion's filled places of need with their NFL Draft choices this past weekend as they filled out what should be as the experts are saying was a A to B draft grade for them. Out of the 7 draft picks the Lion's used 5 of them on the Defensive side of the ball taking 2 Edge rushers, a Defensive tackle, a Linebacker and a Cornerback!
Offensively they took a Offensive Tackle and a Wide Receiver to solidify a pretty solid draft!
Obviously time will tell with all of these draft picks no doubt. Some of them may find themselves vying for Starting spots this Spring and Fall. Blake Miller, the Lion's #1 pick in the draft at Offensive Tackle could be an obvious day 1 starter!
