The Tiger's had to take it all the way to the bottom of the 9th inning to pull out game 2 vs the LA Dodgers. The Lion's on the other hand finished up their preseason in game 3 at Indianapolis vs the Colts with a victory 25-16 to end their Preseason at 2-1. Kevin McGonigle continued his hot play getting the walk off hit to steal the 2-1 victory in the bottom of the 9th. A possible push by the Tiger's for a playoff spot still and the kickoff to football across the state with the Lion's, Wolverines, Spartans, Chippewas, Broncos and Eagles all ready to entertain us for 3-4 months! Before you know it the leaves will start to change, the mornings will get cooler, the days will get shorter but it will definitely be one of the best times of the year to cheer on your teams. Although the summer time will be a short memory in each of us with school starting , our closet attire changing and cider mills opening their doors again. All of us will pause to reflect on a time in our lives when things were a bit calmer, less challenging and a time only Fall can create in all of us!
