Twins Bury Tigers 15-2 as Minnesota Hangs 10 in the Sixth

Rough night in Minneapolis, and there is no dressing it up: the Twins buried our Tigers 15-2 at Target Field, hanging a staggering ten runs on us in the sixth inning alone. Royce Lewis and Ryan Jeffers each launched three-run homers in that frame, and Minnesota sent fifteen men to the plate before the carnage stopped. Only 17,267 were there to see it, and honestly, that may be a mercy. Troy Melton fell to 7-4 after serving up the Lewis blast, and Kyle Finnegan came on and allowed five runs while recording just one out. Kody Clemens homered for the second straight game and Riley Greene returned from the injured list, but those are the only bright spots we get to hold onto here. This one stings deeper than the score. Our Tigers have now dropped 14 of their last 17, and at 63-75 we sit a full 10 games back in the AL Central. The margin for a turnaround is vanishing fast.
