Wolverines Roll UTEP 52-17 as Underwood Dazzles in Ann Arbor!

It got a little sloppy early — UTEP recovered two fumbles in the first half and even led — but our Wolverines answered with 38 straight points to bury the Miners 52-17 in Ann Arbor and move to 3-0. That's the winningest program in college football finding its gears, and once it did there was no doubt. Bryce Underwood was cool as they come, going 19 of 25 for 223 yards and two touchdown throws, with Andrew Marsh hauling in 10 catches for 105 yards and a score of his own. Savion Hiter punched in two rushing scores, and Jonah Lea'ea took an interception the other way. Kyle Whittingham, in his first month at the helm, has us leading 45-14 after three and cruising. One worry: Jordan Marshall ran for 59 yards and a touchdown before leaving in the third with a nagging injury aggravated, per Whittingham. Something to watch. Next up is a home date with No. 18 Iowa, and that one will tell us plenty about this group.
