Tiger's sweep Cleveland set
eyes on Tampa Bay
After a very successful weekend series in Cleveland that saw the Tiger's sweep the Guardians in some close hard fought games! That tied in with a victory Monday night vs the Tampa Bay Rays has Detroit up 14 games in the Central Division and the best record in the majors!
They will play 2 more games vs Tampa Bay then host the Seattle Mariners this coming weekend Friday through Sunday. That will lead them up to the MLB All-Star game in Atlanta next Tuesday July 15!

Detroit Pistons draft Chaz Lanier from Univ. of Tennessee
in the 2nd round of NBA Draft Thursday!
The Detroit Pistons added a shooting wing Thursday night when they took Chaz Lanier with the 37th pick from the University of Tennessee! He is known for his perimeter shooting and will add depth to the backcourt!
You will be able to see Lanier and others in the NBA Summer League coming up here in July

Men's Hoop to play Duke in 2026 season for first time in 13 years!
The Michigan Men's Basketball team announced that they will play in the "Duel in the District" on
Saturday Feb. 21 at Capital One Arena in Washington D.C.
The last meeting was on Dec. 4 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge when Duke beat Michigan 79-69. The Wolverines trail in the series to Duke 8-22.
It should be a good end of the regular season matchup for the Wolverines and coach Dusty May near the end of the BIG Schedule.

Off season continues for Lions as the media
turns love toward the Bears!
As we enter the month of July and the Lion's look at a July 31 Hall of Fame matchup vs the LA Chargers in Canton the talk about the Chicago Bears seems to grow!
The Lion's are coming off the best season in years and the #1 seed in the NFC with a 15-2 record heading into the playoffs! Only to see a Washington Commanders team on a roll put a stop to the Lion's run toward a hopeful Super Bowl run!
Here we are heading into July and a lot of anticipation isn't about the Lion's in the North Division but the Chicago Bears! A very successful off season so far and an excitement in the fan base growing the Lion's will be looking at the Bears as a formidable division foe all season long!
