Wolverines defeat Spartans 90-80
for season sweep
Well the cross state rival MSU Spartans came to the Crisler Center on Sunday afternoon with great intentions in mind! In the end the Wolverines came away with a victory and a regular season sweep of the team from East Lansing! Michigan had already secured the BIG Regular season title so bragging rights were all that was on the line.
The #3 ranked Wolverines used a 11-0 run in the second half to open up what was a close contest most of the day! The victory moved the Michigan record to 29-2 and 19-1 overall in Big Ten play only losing to Wisconsin!
Yaxel Landeborg led all scorers with 27pts and his inside post teammate Morez Johnson Jr added 18pts!
The Big Ten Tournament starts this Wednesday in Chicago at the United Center and the Wolverines will start their tourney at 12pm ET on the Big Ten Network!

Red Wings start out 2-2 since Olympic break
Well the Detroit Red Wings returned from the Olympic games break and have been working at getting back into the form they were in early in the season! They have gone 2-2 since the return and are coming off a 3-0 shutout over the New Jersey Devils!
That was the first of a 4 game road trip they are on. They will travel to Florida and play the Panthers and Lightning and then head to Texas to play the Dallas Stars on this road trip!
The Wings are at the Panthers tonight at 7pm in what looks like a pretty crucial game and revenge from last weeks loss to the Panthers at the LCA 3-1!

Pistons have hit first adversity of season
in 4 game losing streak
The one time machine that was the Detroit Pistons have now experienced some issues having lost 4 straight games as they travel to Brooklyn tonight to face the Nets at 7:30pm!
Although the Pistons still lead the Central Division by 6 games over the Cavaliers! The roof isn't falling in but when Detroit plays .500 ball going 5-5 in its last 10 games makes people sit up and notice!
Coming off a 8-1 stretch of games where they were on cruise control this 4 game losing stretch will punch you in the gut! Hopefully tonight at Brooklyn they can put an end to this streak! Prior to the Streak they were 20-6 since the turn of the new year!

Detroit still working on things in Florida
The Spring Training is used to get the kinks out but at this point of Grapefruit League ball and 15 games under their belt Detroit stands at 3-8 with 4 ties!
Experimenting and getting a look at some of the farm system all equate to Spring in Florida!
They have about 13 games left in sunny Florida before they pack up and head to San Diego for their season road opener!
