MSU Basketball off to 11-1 record and
prepares for the BIG Schedule!
The MSU Men's Basketball team is off to a fast start again this season as they are 11-1 with their only loss coming to the Duke Blue Devils. Coach Izzo has his boys clicking on all cylinders. With victories over the likes of Kentucky, North Carolina, Iowa and Penn St. the team seems poised to be ready for league play!
They will host Cornell on Monday at 7pm before heading out to Lincoln, Neb. to play the undefeated Nebraska Cornhuskers on Jan. 2 at 9pm on Peacock! Should be an exciting week of basketball to start the 2026!

Spartan's hire Pat Fitzgerald to
lead football program
The Jonathan Smith tenure as MSU Football coach has come to an end as the Spartans went out and grabbed Pat Fitzgerald to be their new Head Football coach! The former Northwestern head man now takes over at MSU and should see vast improvements as he did with the Wildcats!
Fitzgerald becomes the 27th coach in the history of MSU Football. Familiar with the BIG Ten is crucial and a great motivator of players. The Former All-American Linebacker at Northwestern won 110 games over 17 seasons and led the Wildcats to 10 bowl games. He's compiling a solid coaching staff this December and should be full steam ahead come January!
This is exciting news for the Spartans and it's alumni moving forward with the football program.
