This page will provide direct attention to the athletics for the Michigan State Spartans! We will try to provide insight on the teams in season with recaps and updates on the current games. We also will look ahead to some upcoming games. Occasionally we will do some articles that will highlight some of the athletes!
MSU and Coach Smith looking forward to improvements in year two!
After taking over the helm of the Michigan State Football program early in 2024 coming from Oregon St coach Jonathan Smith had a lot on his plate! The switch over came fast and trying to hold on to players and recruit new ones was a lot to get in. Obviously in his first season in E. Lansing the season didn't come out in the fashion he would have liked. That is what will make his second season that much more enjoyable as he's hit the ground running and made big strides at MSU.
He hopes to duplicate his success he had at Oregon St and with year 2 fast approaching camp should be fun to watch! The team will report July 30 to begin prepping for the opener at home August 29 vs Western Michigan at 7pm on FS1.

Adams, Andersen and Rogers on ballot!
Flozell Adams, Morten Andersen and Darryl Rogers are all on the ballot to possibly be selected to the College Football Hall of Fame!
The selection will take place in early 2026 and future information will be out on this selection process.
