This section we will cover the local Michigan High School teams as they play during their school seasons every Fall, Winter and Spring! We will highlight games and teams who are having successful seasons. We will also keep up with Team Rankings with our Top teams! to get out and watch!!
High School baseball enters May with high hopes for the last month of regular season!
As we get ready to enter the month of May of the MHSAA 2024-25 sports season the boys baseball teams continue to battle for league titles and prep for the State Tourney! Teams from across the state as the weather improves and the teams start to execute at a higher level the battles will heat up!
According to the MHSBCA (Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association) rankings we have top teams in each of the 4 divisions! In D1 Bay City Western sits on top of the top division. D2 is lead by OL St. Mary's baseball team as does GP Uinversity Liggett sitting on top of D3! Portland St Pat's is the coaches choice in D4!

Boys Golf hits May with better weather and straighter drives on the links!
The trees are in bloom and the flowers are budding as the States top Boys Golfers are out on the links trying to improve their 9 hole scores!
Augusta and The Masters tournament has passed and that is the sign of Golf season being in full force! Local high school teams are trying to keep their tee shots in the fairway and perfecting their putting game.
Detroit Catholic Central is the Golf Coaches Association pick in D1 at this point of the season rankings. They like Grand Rapids Christian, Jackson Lumen Christi and Saginaw Nouvel Catholic Central in D2-4 so far at this point of the year with close to one month to play!

The Diamond holds the key for the Girls Softball hopes as month of May starts up!
We have reached the month of May and all the girls softball teams are battling it out on the diamond for their league and state tournament hopes! With the weather breaking and the battles starting to heat up we have some teams climbing to the top!
According to the states Softball Coaches Association the rankings are showing some familiar teams at the top! Farmington Mercy is ranked #1 in D1. In D2 Gaylord and Escanaba sit atop the 2 spots. In D3 Evart and D4 Unionville-Sebawing still own the top spots! Who will it be in East Lansing in June hosting the trophy?

Month of May should decide who will be in E. Lansing for Girls Soccer
We have hit the month of May for girls Soccer in the state of Michigan and who will separate from the pack in the end.
The Soccer Coaches Association has their mid point rankings online and in D1 Saline sits on top while in D2 Hudsonville Unity Christian holds the top spot. Meanwhile in D3 and D4 we have local teams Detroit Country Day in D3 and Royal Oak Shrine in D4 holding down the #1 ranking spots!
As we settle into the nice warmer weather and great competition ahead it should be an exciting run to East Lansing in June for the State Championships!
