Regional Finals to light up the grid iron
Friday night with exciting action!
After a weekend of District Titles being handed out the High School Football playoffs move to the 32 Regional Finals tonight and tomorrow. It should be another couple exciting days for Schools across the state. Below are just 10 games in the area that you can attend for exciting action!
All the games start at 7pm Friday unless noted:

Girls Volleyball Quarterfinals set for
Tuesday Nov. 18 across state
The Girls Volleyball season has reached the Quarterfinals and the action has begun to heat up in the State Tournament! All the Quarterfinal action will be next Tuesday night Nov. 18 at 7pm see link below for sites!
Championship Weekend will take place in the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek starting on Thursday Nov. 20 and Friday Nov. 21 with all the Semi Final action starting at Noon both days.
The State Championships will follow on Saturday Nov. 22 starting at 10am!
Division 4 at 10am
Dvision 1 at 12pm
Divsion 2 at 2:30pm

State Champs crowned in
Boys Soccer last weekend
Well the excitement didn't falter in some of the most exciting Soccer State finals at Grand Ledge HS this past weekend as we crowned 4 Divisions!
First off in Division 1 Portage Central, behind it's 6'8" Goalkeeper Gunnar Thorhallsson, who recorded his 18th shutout on the season capturing the Title 1-0 in a shootout over Ann Arbor Huron! The victory was his schools first ever!
In Division 2 Warren DeLaSalle repeated as State Champs defeating Hudsonville UnityChristian 2-0. It was Unity Christians first loss of the season!
Division 3 saw Detroit Country Day defeat South Haven HS 4-1 to capture its 16th State Title and first since 2018.
Finally in Division 4 Leland HS defeated Grosse Pointe University Liggett 2-1 in a shootout! Exciting action all day long as teams realized their dreams come true!

Girls golf recap of the Finals as Northville
repeats as D1 Champs!
Well the Girls State Title in Golf is in the books and the Northville Mustangs have repeated in Division 1! They have been state champs in 6 of the last 8 years in D1 as they continue their dominance in the Division!
They finished with a 29 stroke lead over runner up Macomb Dakota as the Mustangs scored a 643 to Dakota 672! Plymouth Senior Annie Flavin was Medalist with a 148 on the two days!
Dexter HS won the D2 State Title defeating Cranbrook 643 to 659 at Bedford Valley. Grand Rapids CC won their 3rd Straight State Title in Divsion 3 this season at Forest Akers West on the campus of MSU. They scored 682 as a team and won going away over runner up Grand Rapids Christian who shot a 2 day total of 711.
In Division 4 Grand Rapids Northpointe Christian clinched their first Golf Title edging out Lansing Catholic by 1 stroke 745 to 746!
