Michigan High School sports
This section we will cover the local Michigan High School teams as they play during their school seasons every Fall, Winter and Spring! We will highlight games and teams who are having successful seasons. We will also keep up with Team Rankings with our Top teams! to get out and watch!!

As we look to put closure on the MHSAA Fall Sports season we see the Winter Sports season starting to kick into gear! The Boys Basketball teams are forming inside a lot of high school gyms as teams start to condition and make cuts to form what is hopefully a strong basketball team this Winter!
First practices were Nov. 12 as teams prep to tipoff seasons on Dec. 1. Boys districts will start Feb. 23 with Regionals on March 3! Quarterfinals will be March 10 leading up to Semi Finals on March 12-13 and the State Finals inside the Breslin Center on March 14!

Belleville, Tecumseh, Ypsi Arbor Prep and Fowler all look to cut down the nets again in March!
All 4 of these teams along with many many others all started their quest to be 2026 State Champs in March at the Breslin Center!
Most of the girls games will start up the week of Dec. 8 as the first scheduled games can be played across the State!
The 22 game schedule will flow right into the Districts (Mar.2-6) with Regionals, Quarterfinals, Semi-Finals and Finals following!

Familiar teams back in mix in Boy's Hockey for 2025-26 season!
The State's top teams have reloaded and are looking to continue their dominance on the high school rinks across the state again this season! Detroit Catholic Central, Flint Powers and Orchard Lake St. Mary's all sit atop the 3 Division rankings early in the season! Some familiar foes are hot on their skates as Hartland, Howell, Trenton, Livonia Stevenson and Houghton all look to hunt down the #1 ranked squads again!

States wrestlers aim to get to
States again this year!
The States best teams and best Wrestlers have been busy so far this winter mastering their craft and working to move up the rankings both team and individual wise!
Detroit Catholic Central, Lowell, Dundee and Hudson all sit atop the 4 divisions so far this season! Familiar teams for sure in the Wrestling circuit. Other strong teams this early part of the season are Davison, Brighton, Three Rivers, Algonac in the top 2 Divisions.
In Division 3 and 4 you will see Yale, Allegan, Manchester and St. Louis all looking to get into the top spot by seasons end.
