Michigan High School sports
This section we will cover the local Michigan High School teams as they play during their school seasons every Fall, Winter and Spring! We will highlight games and teams who are having successful seasons. We will also keep up with Team Rankings with our Top teams! to get out and watch!!
Rochester Adams, New Boston Huron, TC St. Francis and Portland St. Pat's sit atop rankings!
We are at the one month of regular season point for most teams of the MHSAA Baseball season and teams are making a run at League titles. The weather seems to be breaking and tournaments fill the weekends! Rankings are out(as of 5/2) and some of the teams on top of the 4 divisions at this point are D1 Rochester Adams, D2 New Boston Huron, D3 Traverse City St. Francis and in D4 we are seeing Portland St. Patricks on top!
Will they be able to ride this momentum to East Lansing in June? In about a month the District finals are set for
May 29/30 as the State Tournament will be in motion by then!

Saline, Paw Paw, Ravenna and Mendon
grab top spots in D1 - D4 rankings!
The Girls Softball season has moved into one month of the season left and there are 4 teams who have climbed to the #1 spots in their rankings as of May 2! Saline in D1, Paw Paw in D2, Ravenna in D3 and Mendon in D4 all are considered best in their divisions here at what is one month to play!
With Districts starting here at end of May or so we shall see if theses 4 can advance to reach East Lansing and their respected State titles.
Until then there is a lot of innings to be played, tournaments to be fought for and league titles on the line for a lot of teams across Michigan!

Detroit C.C., Lutheran North, Lumen Christi and Oakland Christian top rankings!
Here we are on May 2 and we have golf teams ranked in the #1 spots with about a month to play! Detroit Catholic Central, Lutheran North, Lumen Christi and Oakland Christian are the May 1st top spot teams thought to raise the State Title Trophies in June!
Regionals are May 26-30 for all the Boy's golf teams across the state!
This year the State hosts per divisions are:
D1 - Katke Course at Ferris St. Univ.
D2 - The Meadows at Grand Valley State Univ.
D3 - Bedford Valley in Battle Creek
D4 - Forest Akers West on MSU Campus in East Lansing
The State Finals will run June 5-6 in all 4 sites!

Byron Center, Unity Christian, Goodrich and Musk. W.Mich Christian #1 with one month left
Well as of May 2 we are one month left of the season and 4 teams have separated themselves from the pack and claimed the #1 ranking! Byron Center, Hudsonville Unity Christian, Goodrich and Muskegon Western Michigan Christian all have that honor! Can they push through the pressures and be the ones still standing in the end!
Semi Finals for the State Tournament are set for June 9-10 and the Finals are planned for June 12-13 at DeMartin Soccer Complex at MSU in East Lansing!
