This page will provide direct attention to the athletics at the University of Michigan! We will try to provide insight on the teams in season with recaps and updates on the current games. We also will look ahead to some upcoming games. Occasionally we will do some articles that will highlight some of the athletes!
Big Comeback tonight vs Northwestern
keeps UM on top of BIG
Michigan found itself in the biggest deficit of the season tonight at Northwestern trailing by as many as 16 points only to see the Wolverines battle back in the second half to pull out the victory 87-75!
The young Wildcats battled all night trying to upset the #2 team in the country. At times it looked like they might get that win. But the talented Wolverines showed the fight and talent that has been with them all season long in the comeback!
The 2nd half UM outscored Northwestern 52-31 as LJ Cason had 18pts off the bench and Yaxel Lendeborg chipped in 15 points and 12 rebs as part of 5 scorers in double digits!
Michigan will now host the UCLA Bruins on Saturday at 12:45 on CBS.

Ladies 5 game win streak comes to end as UCLA
sneaks out of town with victory!
The Lady Wolverines suffered their 4th loss overall on the season and 2nd in the BIG Sunday as the UCLA Bruins came to Ann Arbor and defeated UM 69-66! Trailing most of the game they never quit and almost pulled out the upset victory!
They now will travel to Northwestern tonight(Feb. 12) to play at 8pm on Peacock before returning home for a Sunday Feb. 15 rivalry game at Crisler vs the MSU Spartans at 4pm on FS1!
With 5 regular season BIG games remaining (at Iowa, at Ohio St, Maryland) all of them are crucial with 3 of the 5 on the road. Senior Day will be Feb. 28 at 2:30pm at Crisler on FOX as Maryland comes to town!

Volleyball finishes up season 22-11; 11-9,
get to 2nd round in NCAA Tourney
The Wolverines Volleyball team finished up the season with it's best record since 2018 as they won over 20 games for the 15th time in program history! The Wolverines finished 9th in the conference and compiled a 10-1 non conference record. A sweep of Ohio St was a highlight on the season obviously! A lot to build on this season as they look to a brief spring season ahead in March that ends April 19th!

Hockey gets split with Spartans losing
"Duel in the D" on Saturday night
The Men's Hockey team got a split vs the Spartans this past weekend losing the second game in the "Duel in the D" Saturday night 5-2! Their record now is 23-5 overall and 14-4-1 in Conference play!
They will be hosting the #6 Penn St. Nittany Lions at Yost this weekend in another big series. They will head to Madison Wisconsin Feb. 20-21 then return home to face the Minnesota Gophers Feb. 26-27 to finish out their Conference Play at Yost!
March 11 will be the Quarterfinals, Semifinals will be March 14 and the BIG Championship will be March 21!
