We also will look ahead to some upcoming games. Occasionally we will do some articles that will highlight some of the athletes!
NFL Draft draws 6 Wolverines to teams in the 3 day event!
The Michigan Wolverines football program saw 6 players drafted into the NFL this past weekend! On Day 2 of the Draft you saw Edge Derrick Moore (Det) get picked 44th, TE Malin Klein picked 59th(Hou) and Jaishawn Barham with the 92nd(Dal) pick!
On the final day of draft LB Jimmy Rolder was taken 118th(Det), TE/FB Max Bredeson was picked 159th(Minn) and DT Rayshaun Benny was picked 250th(Balt)
A few others were picked up as Free Agents after the draft to try to extend their football career!

Michigan Baseball wins 2 of 3 vs Washington
over the weekend
Michigan Baseball used 2 of the 3 games vs Washington this weekend to win in Walk off fashion.
Friday night Michigan scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning to pull off a 8-7 comeback victory! Saturday heading into the bottom of the 9th trailing 3-1 the Wolverines used a bases loaded single by Brayden Jefferis to steal game 2 again from the Huskies 4-3! Sunday afternoons finale UM tried to steal another comeback victory trailing 7-3 heading into the bottom of the 9th but Washington escaped with a 7-5 victory to avoid the sweep!
The Wolverines sit at 27-17 overall and 12-9 in conference play.
They will have the week off before traveling to Maryland this coming weekend for 3 game May 1-3! First pitch of that series is 6pm Friday night in College Park, Maryland vs the Terps!

Softball heads to E. Lansing for
regular season series finale
The Women's Softball team will close out it's regular season schedule in East Lansing this weekend with 3 games at 5pm Friday & Saturday then Sunday at Noon! With a record of 30-19; 8-12 Big Ten the Wolverines look to improve on their resume and get momentum into the post season BIG Tourney and possibly into the NCAA tournament!
If they can have a successful series they could climb into the #8 spot in the Conference!
The BIG Ten Tournament will be in College Park, Md. with the host Maryland Terrapins on May 5-9th!
NCAA Regionals will be TBD at a campus site the weekend of May 15-17!

Michigan hoop adds 9 players into the mix
for the 2026-27 season
Dusty May and his coaching staff are riding the momentum of the National Championship this past March and the best Michigan Hoop season ever!
By the beginning of May here they have 6 players in their recruiting class from high school this year! Quinn Costello, Joseph Hartman, Marcus Moller, Malachi Brown, Brandon McCoy Jr and Lincoln Cosby!
Through the college Transfer Portal they have commitments from 6'10" forward Jalen Reed out of LSU,
6'10" Tennessee forward J.P. Estrella and 7'3" Moustapha Thiam from Cincinnati and UCF!
It makes for some exciting times in the Michigan Basketball program as they have seemed to rebuild and are looking to maintain the success of the 2025-26 season!
