This page will provide direct attention to the athletics at the University of Michigan! We will try to provide insight on the teams in season with recaps and updates on the current games. We also will look ahead to some upcoming games. Occasionally we will do some articles that will highlight some of the athletes!
Michigan Football loses to Texas
in Citrus Bowl 41-27
After a long month of December for the Michigan Football team where it saw it's coach get fired (Sherone Moore) over a scandal within the program. To a New Head Coach Hunt! Then finally a Bowl Prep to play the Texas Longhorns on Dec. 31 in Orlando at the Citrus Bowl!
A lot to ask for in a month but the team played valiantly all day long and in the end the Longhorns up ended the Wolverines 41-27!
With Interim coach Biff Poggi standing in the team came out in pretty good shape and even led 17-10 at one point but the legs of Arch Manning running and the lack of rushing attack for the Wolverines proved to be too much!
After naming long time Utah Head Coach Kyle Whittingham their new coach for the next 5 years prior to the game the excitement throughout the program seemed to take a click up prior to kickoff! But not even that news would be good enought for the Wolverines faithful! The team finished about where preseason speculation had them at 9-4 overall and despite the youth within the program overcame a lot of hardship!

Michigan hoop starts 2026 vs USC
tonight 7pm at the Crisler Center
A red hot Michigan Men's Basketball team will start to dive into it's BIG Schedule tonight vs the USC Trojans at the Crisler Center at 7pm on Peacock!
The Wolverines have bee rolling along scoring over 100 points in record pace! The depth on this team hasn't been matched so far this season. USC comes into town with a good record too and should be a good challenge for UM.

After a long layoff the UM Hockey team
is back on ice again!
The highly ranked Wolverines have been off since Dec. 6 when they split a home and home with the Spartans. They will play a exhibition game Saturday Jan 3 vs the USDT before getting back into the schedule hosting the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame Jan. 9-10 at Yost!

Volleyball moves to 19-8 overall
and 9-7 in conference
Don't look now but the Wolverines Volleyball team has won 4 straight matches vs Rutgers, Maryland, Ohio St. and Michigan St.! They have moved their overall record to 19-8 and 9-7 in league play!
A big test awaits them here the next 8 days they will be out west to play Washington(Nov.20), Oregon (Nov. 22), UCLA (Nov. 26) and USC on Nov. 28 in what will be crucial stretch of matches to see if the Lady Wolverines can stay in the BIG Volleyball hunt!
