Michigan drops heartbreaker at N. Carolina 4-2
to end their season
The #5 ranked Tar Heels of North Carolina ended the hopes of the #12 ranked Wolverines by the score of 4-2 to end Michigan's hopes of advancing in the tournament.
After traveling to Chapel Hill for the Regionals the experience was a great one and will surely help inspire the off season workouts for next season! Michigan won 21 matches in 2026 and also won the BIG Ten Championship and Tourney along the way!

Michigan loses late night rain delayed game vs Nebraska 6-4 eliminating them from BIG tourney; await NCAA invite!
Michigan Wolverines baseball has been battling this post season in Omaha, Neb. as they opened up beating Rutgers before losing to Washington in a tough loss. They then sat in the Elimination game with the Ohio State Buckeyes Thursday!
In the end they got a complete game pitched and timely hitting utilizing their 2 hits to score 3 runs! Those runs were enough to win 3-0 over the Buckeyes who had just swept the Wolverines in the final 3 game series of the season in Ann Arbor!
Michigan was knocked out of the BIG Tourney late Friday night or more like early Saturday morning as the first Pitch was at Midnight ET! Rain delays during the day pushed back the schedule of games all day! In the end the #2 Cornhuskers outlasted a gutsy Wolverines team 6-4!
The Wolverines will now await an Invitation to the NCAA Tournament as the drawing is Monday May 25 at Noon on ESPN2! Feel free to follow the link below to keep tabs on the Wolverines Baseball as they continue Post season play!
Michigan Softball season comes to end with an 8-1 loss to Oklahoma in Regionals!
The Women's Softball team ran into one of the top teams in the country at Regionals and the Oklahoma Sooners proved to tough! Scoring early and often vs the Wolverines team proved to much in the 8-1 defeat! Michigan was only able to muster up 3 hits on the day! The ladies finished the season at 36-21 and made it third straight NCAA Tournament and 29th in the last 30 seasons!
Things will keep improving in the off season and building this program even stronger for next Spring!

Women's Lacrosse loses to Stanford in tight one 13-12
to be eliminated in 2nd round of NCAA!
Michigan's Women's Lacrosse came up just short losing to Stanford 13-12 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament inside the UM Lacrosse Stadium. This concludes their season for the #7 ranked Wolverines who finished the year with a 13-7 record.
Things look bright for the ladies in the future and it was a great experience for therm this season!
