Ford Field Roars as Lion's take down
Bucs 24-9 on MNF

In front of a national audience and a very enthusiastic MNF crowd the Detroit Lion's took care of the Tampa Bay Bucs 24-9 in what was a defensive gem!  The Bucs came in with a record of 5-1 and an offense that had been clicking on all cylinders!

The Lion's defense stood tall all night long as the front 4 were constantly making things tough on QB Baker Mayfield and his offense.

The patch work Defensive backs with 4 injuries had replacements step in and make passes tough to come by!

Meanwhile, the Lion's offense behind RB Jahmyr Gibbs who had 136 yards on 17 carries and a 78 yard TD run! What a night and a huge victory for the Lion's as they enter their BYE week.

They will host the Minnesota Vikings on Nov. 2 at 1pm at Ford Field next!

Detroit Pistons 2025-26 campaign underwaywith tough early season schedule on tap

The Detroit Pistons fresh off their playoff season and a year that saw them become one of the biggest surprise teams in the NBA started their season in Chicago this week.

Sporting one of the younger  squads in the league and a budding superstar in Cade Cunningham the hopes are high around this years squad.  JB Bickerstaff lead this Pistons team to great heights and looks to do the same this season!  They won't be able to sneak up on people this year and the task at hand will be a challenge.

But with a good nucleus of talent and a solid work ethic carried over from last season we should see some continued success.

So far this year they are 1-1 with a defeat to Chicago then a comeback win vs the Houston Rockets.

They will host the Boston Celtics at Little Caesars Arena on Sunday at 3:30pm.

Be sure to follow the link below for all things Pistons all year long!

Wings lose back to back on road
to slow fast start!

The 5-1 Red Wings got a dose of reality on the road this week as they got beat in back to back road games.  First off they went into Buffalo and lost to the Sabres.  Then the next night turned around and got torched by the NY Islanders to bring the hot start to a crashing halt.

Buffalo defeated the Wings 4-2 and the Islanders beat them 7-2!  A week where they got outscored 11-4 where the defense gave up over 5 goals a game on average while only averaging 2 goals.  This coming off a 5 game win stretch where the defense allowed only 9 goals!  This accompanied by a Wings offense that compiled 19 goals over those 5 games.

The Red Wings return home tonight for a Saturday game vs the St. Louis Blues at 7pm before heading to St. Louis as part of a home and home set on Tuesday night at 8:15pm!

Tiger's clean out lockers and look to off season!

Scott Harris and AJ Hinch sat down last Monday morning to recap the 2025 season before heading off to warmer climates and a little relaxation.  In this press conference they answered questions and elaborated on the state of the Detroit Tiger's.

Scott Harris noted that AJ Hinch had agreed to an extension with the club and that he hoped AJ would stay in Detroit for as long as he desired.  No details were covered about the deal but both seemed happy and relieved about the outcome.

Another pressing discussion surrounding the club is the fate of the best pitcher in the MLB & CY Young Award winning pitcher Tarik Skubal and his longevity with the ball club.  Skubal becomes a Free Agent at the end of the 2026 season and could sign with any MLB Team he so desires.  So Harris, Hinch and the ownership of the Tiger's will be hard pressed to try to get something finalized prior to the 2026 season to avoid a constant banter from the media and others regarding the pitchers future!

Feel free to keep up with all things Tigers in the off season at the tab below!
