Game 6 goes bad at end
as Pistons are eliminated!

In a season that saw them come back from last place in the NBA to a 6 seed in the playoffs the Detroit Pistons post season came to an end Thursday night at Little Caesars!  The team battled back all game long!  They finally get a lead after a late 4th quarter 21-5 run!   Were holding a 7point lead with 2:35 seconds to play in the game only to see the Knicks go on a 11-1 run to escape with a victory 116-113 and a 4-2 series win!

It was a season that saw a lot of accomplishments for these Pistons with a glimmer of hope going into this off season.  The losses in this series will hurt for a little while.  But come the fall and training camp again this squad has gained a lot of experience that will pay off down the road.

Thanks again Pistons for a great run!  Feel free to follow the link below for all things Pistons!

Tigers head to Colorado to face Rockies

The Tigers after winning 3 of 4 in Anaheim over the weekend are sitting at 22-13 atop the Central Division, plus are sporting the best record in the American League at almost the 1/4 season mark.  Things were clicking in Anaheim vs the Angels as Detroit outscored the hosts 34-11 for the 4-game series!

Things continue to go the Tigers way as they enter the 2nd month of the season in a pretty good spot.  Solid pitching and timely hitting have paved the way to the hot start!

After the 3 games in Colorado they will be back at Comerica Park for 6 straight games vs Texas and Boston starting Friday night May 9!

It may be the off season but with the Detroit Lions and the excitement around them that means reloading the teams for again for this upcoming season!  Last week Thurs-Sat was the 2025 NFL Draft and the Detroit Lions reloaded the team with some hopeful key players.
In the first round Thursday night the Lions used the 28th pick to take DT Tyleik Williams from The Ohio State Buckeyes.  He will help solidify the middle of the D-Line and continue the organizations attention to the trenches and building more GRIT!
In the 2nd round the Lions added Tate Ratledge and Offensive Guard from the University of Georgia!  He was a 3-year starter who made 37 career starts over his 5 seasons.
Overall, the Lions selected 7-players in the Draft and hit on most of their needed spots in the process.  Time will tell as to how they shake out.
