Pistons at Magic is set for game 3
today at 1pm

The Detroit Pistons are in Orlando to continue their best of 7 series with the #8 seeded Orlando Magic today

as tip off is set for 1pm on Peacock/NBCSN!

The Pistons look to continue where they left off in game 2 as they ran away with the game

in the 3rd quarter of that one.

But you can't expect anything easy for sure especially on the road in front of a rowdy Playoff home crowd

that is expected in Orlando!  This is another big test for the Pistons as they try to take control of this series!

Yzerman and McLellan have
end of season presser

GM Steve Yzerman and head coach Todd McLellan sat down in front of the press corp this week and put closure to a 10th season without a Playoff Berth.  They were asked about job security and off season needs and wants to hopefully get this team over the hump!

A lot of scuttle about if Stevie Y has run out of time or if he should step down has been a hot topic lat in the season!   Yzerman has reiterated he's got assurance from the Illitch ownership that he and McLellan will return for the 2026-27 season!  As far as the fate of some of the Red Wings only time will tell on them!  Moves need to be made and the team needs to look different by the time October rolls around in the fall!

Feel free to follow the link below and see what they are saying as they clear out their lockers again!

Reds walk off Tiger's with last
at bat 2-run HR

What comes around goes around as the Detroit Tigers battled mother nature and the Cincinnati Reds Friday night!  After walking off the Brewers the night prior at Comerica the Reds turned around and did it to the Tigers with a bottom 9th 2 out pitch that ended up in the right field seats and ended a 5 hour plus rain delayed ballgame!

The 9-8 loss was only Detroits 4th loss in its last 14 games(10-4) as they are only 1 game back of Cleveland in the Central!

Riley Greene, Javier Baez, Spencer Torklelson and Kerry Carpenter all hit Home Runs to lead the scoring for Detroit as the Reds also answered with 4 HRs themselves!

The two teams will play again Saturday night in Cincy with a first pitch set for 7:15pm on FOX as Jack Flaherty takes the mound for the Tigers!
